TINSUKIA: In an operation against drug trafficking, the Bordumsa police in Tinsukia district laid a trap based on specific information and arrested three persons on Thursday evening who have been have been identified as Gadang Nongja (31) and Jagun Gam Singpfo(29), both hailing from Bordumsa Bosti Gelenja under the Changlang district of Arunachal Pradesh,and Bijoy Prosad (27) of Mohadevpur under Bordumsa PS of the Tinsukia district.
The police recovered 23 grams of heroin concealed in two soap cases from their possession. Besides, an Alto vehicle has also been seized in which the persons were travelling.
