TNAI Sonitpur organizes day-long continuing Nursing Education

Tezpur: TNAI, Sonitpur district branch organized a day-long Continuing Nursing Education on ‘Capacity Development in Patient Safety’ at Baptist Christian Hospital Auditorium on Saturday.

After the initial registration of the participants, the Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) started with welcoming of the chief guest and participants. Jagadish Chandra Solanki, managing director of Baptist Christian Hospital, Sonaram Nath, president of TNAI Assam Chapter, and Dr. Anjali Hazarika, secretary of TNAI Assam, were present.

The CNE theme ‘Capacity Development in Patient Safety’ was elaborated by Dr. Arunjyoti Baruah, Education Chairperson, TNAI Assam. Two eminent resource persons, Pinaki Bayan, Nursing Superintendent, Apollo Hospital, Guwahati and Karishma Khound, Nursing Learning Officer, Apollo Hospital, Guwahati, carried out the sessions.

More than 70 delegates from different health care institutions like Kanakalata Civil Hospital, LGBRIMH, Catholic Hospital, Borgang, Baptist Christian Hospital, and Tezpur Medical College and Hospital took part in the CNE.
