TINSUKIA: A two-day training programme for resource persons at School Management Committees' (SMC) school cluster level for Tinsukia district concluded on Tuesday.

Organized by Samagra Siksha, Tinsukia district, the training sessions were held at the auditorium of Senairam HS School and office of Tinsukia Municipal Board. Two resource persons from each 136 school clusters under 7 educational blocks attended the programme. Aimed at enhancing capabilities of resource persons to handle all features of the New Education Policy (NEP), the resource persons were guided by manuals prepared by the department.

The inaugural programme initiated by Tridib Sarma Tamuli, district project officer, was addressed by Binti Sarma, DEEO & District Mission Coordinator, and Abdul Jalil, former Joint Director, Education department. The key resource persons who conducted the training programme were Bipul Upadhyay, Kalyan Dihingia, Hireswar Das, Rahul Das, Chintu Baruah and programme officer Dipak Borgohain.
