Training programme for border area youths organized by SSB in Udalguri

UDALGURI: The 23rd battalion of SSB stationed at Lalpool has initiated a free training of motor driving and electrical mechanics for the youths of the Indo-Bhutan border.

The motor driving training will be imparted by Mangaldai Ganesh Motor Driving Centre for 30 youths and another 30 youths will be given training through APDCL. Addressing the opening session of this training programme, Rohitashwa, the Commandant of 23rd battalion SSB, said that the SSB deployed in the Indo-Bhutan border was trying to develop the people economically and socially. The SSB has organized several training programmes for border villagers to develop their skills, he added.

Mayank Kumar, the Additional SP of Udalguri district, urged the people to take benefit from the SSB civic action programme.
