Tribute paid to Jayanta Hazarika at Doomdooma

DOOMDOOMA: Rich tributes were paid to legendary artiste Jayanta Hazarika at Doomdooma on his 43rd death anniversary on Thursday.

On this occasion , Abhinaba Natya Mancha (ANAM) , an amateur theatrical group of Doomdooma, in collaboration with Doomdooma Natya Mandir Samity, organized a special programme at Doomdooma Natya Mandir premises on Thursday evening titled 'Tumar Kotha Jetiya Bhabo'. The programme began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp before the portrait of Jayanta Hazarika by the president of Doomdooma Natya Mandir Samity, Dhiren Mazumder while the secretary of ANAM offered floral tributes to the portrait of the artiste.
