Tribute to Renu Changkakoti

Renu Changkakoti, wife of Nishi Nath Changkakoti, and the founder Principal of Ankur Seminary Guwahati, breathed her last on October 14. She was lovingly called "aunty" by all her students. She was a loving personality who had inspired generations of students.

Ankur Seminary, the brainchild of Changkakoti Aunty was like a home for the students. She had some unique cultures like gifting her student a handkerchief on birthday, inviting the position holders of the upper classes along with their parents for a homely lunch. Such gestures were heart-touching. On the day of her Adya Shraddha, we remember Aunty with gratitude. We pray to God for the eternal peace of her soul.
