Tributes paid to former CM Tarun Gogoi in Golaghat

GOLAGHAT: Hundreds of people gathered on the NH-37 near Da Dhara under Khumtai constituency of Golaghat to pay tribute to former Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi as his ashes were being taken from Guwahati to Jorhat.

Tarun Gogoi's son and MP Gaurav Gogoi, along with some of his associates, were carrying the ashes towards Jorhat. Former MLA of Khumtai, BismitaGogoi and several Congress workers were present.
