Tuliram Ronghang laid foundation stones of development projects in Bithung Rengthama

Hamren: Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) CEM Tuliram Ronghang laid foundation stones of various developmental projects on Wednesday under Bithung Rengthama Constituency.

CEM Ronghang laid the foundation stone for the construction of Cement Concrete Pavement Block road at Hatimora under Bithung Renghthama Constituency. He inaugurated construction work of metal and black topping road from SH35 (TO3) to Ingti Kaibong Village Road under PMGSY Scheme 2017-18 covering Bithung Renghthama and Hamren constituency in the presence of several EMs, MACs and Deputy Commissioner of West Karbi Anglong.

Immediate measures to restore breach like damage of the dyke along Kopili River under SRDF with the estimated cost of Rs 3.60 crore was also laid by Ronghang along with Amarsing Tisso, EM i/c Water Resources. The CEM also distributed solar lights to 342 houses of Upilangso and Baida villages at Langmepi under Amreng constituency. Besides, he also inaugurated the open stage at Langmepi, in the presence of local MAC Rina Terangpi and others.

Fulfilling his commitment made during the Karbi Zonal Festival, 2018, the CEM laid the foundation stone of the Jengkha Playground under Kopili Constituency, construction of Karbi Bhavan in the premises of Jengkha Playground, boundary wall and open stage. He also inaugurated the new building of Ganeshi Bhavan Hindi ME School under Amreng Constituency on Wednesday.
