Two alleged lovers committed suicide in Sarupathar

SARUPATHAR: Two alleged lovers committed suicide by jumping in front of the train in between the Chungajan and Bokajan railway station on Tuesday, the police said. They took the extreme step after their parents allegedly did not agree to their marriage, locals said. The deceased were identified as Mousumi Gogoi, resident of No.1 Chungajan and a student of Class XI, and Kartik Modi, resident of No.2 Chungajan and a student of Class X. They wanted to marry each other but their families were against the idea.
