Two arrested in Jorhat’s Teok, 7.65 mm factory made pistol recovered

Guwahati: Last night acting on a reliable input, OC Teok PS, Jorhat and staff conducted a raid in the house of one Biswajit Neog (27) of Vill Bonai Robigaon, under Teok PS and enquired about a Pistol.

Accordingly, on being led by him the house of Tapan Saikia (38) of the same locality was searched and recovered one 7.65 mm factory made pistol and one magazine which were kept concealed.

On interrogation, they said they found it on the riverbed while collecting sand.

A case is being registered.
