Two-day training for engineers concludes in Tezpur

Tezpur: A two-day training for engineers on Rapid Visual Screening and non-structural mitigation was held in Tezpur. Organized by the District Disaster Management Authority, a total of 30 engineers from various government departments took part in the two-day training program. Additional District Commissioner and CEO, DDMA Satyajit Chetia inaugurated the training on Tuesday.
Inamori Phukan Saikia (T&CP), S Das (SSA) and S Deuri (NRHM) were the resource persons for the training. Topics related to earthquake-resistant design, RVS format, seismic retrofitting, material quality control, ductile detailing and others were covered during the two-day training.
