Gossaigaon: In an operation led by Srirampur IC Jeeban Daimary, launched at NH-31C on Tuesday night, the party seized two trucks Cattle laden with cows and buffaloes. Total 64 cows and buffaloes were seized from both the trucks (BR 06GA-7297 and AS 01-LC-2883) which were transported from Hazipur under Vaisali district of Bihar to Mangaldai. One of the cows was found dead in the vehicle. A case under cruelty act and other sections has been registered at Srirampur PS and further enquiry is on to nab the culprits involved.
