Two Labourers From Assam Die In Landslide In Arunachal Pradesh

Itanagar: Two labourers from the Lakhimpur district of Assam died during a landslide in Arunachal Pradesh on Monday.

The two deceased were identified as Nurjamal Haque and Asadul Islam who hailed from Nadika village in Assam's Lakhimpur district.

According to reports, the incident took place when a huge mass of land fell on them while they were digging the ground near a hill.

In order to retrieve their body, the authority had to use JCB machine.

Later, the police sent their bodies for the post mortem and after the completion of the same, the bodies were sent to their respective homes in Assam.
