Two trucks carrying illegal timber seized in Kamrup district

Boko: Singra forest officials seized two trucks laden with illegal Sal and other wood logs from two different places of Tarabari and Dekapra village under Boko Police station in Kamrup district. Ananta Kalita, Ranger of Singra forest office, said that the operation was launched after getting specific information from the West Kamrup divisional forest officer, Ranjan Goswami. But all the timbers smugglers and drivers of the trucks managed to flee, he added.
