Kaziranga: The United States' (US) Ambassador to India, Kenneth Juster had recently visited the Kaziranga National Park in Assam. The Ambassador was quite ecstatic to visit the National Park and witness the wild flora and fauna, for which it is uniquely known.

Referring to his tour as 'spectacular', the US ambassador later took to Twitter to share a few moments from his recent visit to Kaziranga. On January 3, he posted four images of Kaziranga wildlife from his official Twitter handle. He wrote, "Spectacular visit to #KazirangaNationalPark in Assam. Saw many of the famous one-horned rhinos, as well as lots of elephants and water buffalo, and many varieties of birds. #IncredibleIndia."

Notably, his pictures included a pair of one horned Indian rhino which are particularly found in Kaziranga. Among terrestrial land mammals native to Asia, Indian rhinos are second in size only to the Asian elephant.

Another picture posted by Juster featured a herd of elephants basking and walking through plain fields in the park.

A third picture showed an Asiatic water buffalo amidst bushes while the fourth picture tweeted by Juster showed a bird standing in a water body.

Notably, famous cricket commentator and international player from England Kevin Pietersen had recently visited the Kaziranga National Park to shoot a documentary on rhino conservation. He was mesmerised by the natural sceneries in Assam and even compared it to Africa.

Earlier in 2016, Royal couple Prince Williams and Kate Middleton had visited the National Park, and since then they have been thoroughly engaged in spreading awareness and concern regarding the loss of habitat for the wildlife in the park.

It is worth mentioning that  Kenneth Juster who is ending his tenure as the US Ambassador to India  today delivered a speech, and shared his thoughts on US-India partnership.
