A CORRESPONDENT
GOLAGHAT: A vaccination drive for livestock aiming prevention of Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) and Brucellosis under National Animal Disease Control Programme is going on at various parts of the Golaghat district including Merapani, Hatiakhowa, Dergaon and Ahom Gaon under the aegis of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Department, Golaghat. Ear tagging of cattle is also being carried out at Hatiakhowa area to keep track and record information such as gender, age, weight, when a cow last calved, number of calves she has had, etc.
