Vishwakarma Puja Celebrated in Demow

DEMOW: Vishwakarma Puja was celebrated in various vehicle stands, business establishments and offices of Demow on Wednesday.

The pandals were fully decorated with colourful garlands, flowers and lights. The puja was started by the priest according to rituals and at the end of the puja, prasad was distributed among the devotees.

In Demow Magic stand, naam prasanga were performed on Wednesday night on the occasion of Puja. The idols of Vishwakarma were taken from the pandals and kept near Demow River on Thursday.

MERAPANI: Vishwakarma Puja was observed at different places of Merapani sub division amidst mirth and merriment. The festival was also celebrated in Furkating, Jamuguri, Ghiladhari and Kachamari. Dihanaam, Nagaranam were organized in some places. A Mahapurushiya bhaona was displayed at Furkating on the occasion.
