Water supply scheme inaugurated in Assam's Tinsukia district

Doomdooma: Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Tinsukia, Narasing Power formally inaugurated a north side water supply scheme of Ledo Tea Estate under Margherita Legislative Assembly Constituency (LAC) on Thursday.

The inaugural function was attended by officials and employees of Public Health Engineering (PHE), all the beneficiaries of Ledo Tea Estate and the office-bearers of Ledo-Koliabari Gaon Panchayat (GP). The water supply scheme constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 81.81 lakh under Jal Jeevan Mission has been completed within a record time of three months and is in a position to supply pure drinking water to 169 families now.
