BOKAKHAT: Nature constantly amazes humans with its ever-new creations and attracts us with its unique beauty. This draws people to forget their pain, sorrow, and hardships for a moment and seek solace in nature’s pure creations. The rise in global temperatures due to climate change has severely affected the lifestyles of both human and other living beings. Even modern conveniences like electric fans and air conditioners have failed to offer complete relief from the intense heat.

In such times, human curiosity often leads to the discovery of new places. About 4 to 5 kilometers south of Bihora, located between Bokakhat and Numaligarh, off National Highway 37, a serene stream flows continuously from the Karbi Hills. A beautiful waterfall has been discovered near Bihora Mikir Chang, also referred to as Lakhoujan or the Bhakat Chapori area of Rajabari.

This waterfall, cascading through the lush greenery of the Karbi Hills, has become a daily destination for many who come to enjoy the natural beauty. Moreover, students from the surrounding areas have also been observed visiting the spot to play and bathe in the refreshing waters, all in search of relief from the scorching summer heat.
