‘We need a society which upholds human ethos’- Tangla H.S school Principal

TANGLA: “We need to keep motivating the students to excel in their goals of life. The meritorious students are the ones who need to be torchbearers of society. There has been a spurt in the number of educated people but people with basic human ethos are nowhere to be found.” This was observed by Principal of Tangla H.S school, Dr. Dilip Baruah here at Bishnu Rabha community Hall in Khusubil of Udalguri district on Friday. Delivering his inaugural speech at the special felicitation ceremony organized by Udalguri (west) chapter All Koch-Rajbongshi Students’ Union (AKRSU), in collaboration with Bhergaon chapter, Koch-Rajbongshi Mul-Yuba-Mahila Sanmilani and Paneri AKRSU, he made the students swear-in to be a good human being and take up the responsibilities of the society. Earlier, HoD of Assamese Department, Tangla College, Ghateswar Baruah inaugurated a souvenir ‘Aangsa’ and exhorted the students to keep themselves acquainted with the radically changing world of IT. The event presided over by President of Udalguri(West) AKRSU, Hemanta Bora Koch, which witnessed the felicitation of 62 and 43 HSLC, HS pass students respectively was graced as chief guest by Chief Advisor, AKRSU, Hiteshwar Barman along with a number of distinguished personalities.
