JAMUGURIHAT: A webinar, organized by Assam Kabi Sanmilan on the topic 'trends of modern Assamese poetry', was held recently at Google meet platform, stated a press release. The webinar hosted by Ruma Bhattacharya, secretary of the poet's organization was chaired by Tridip Laskar, the working president of the literary organization. Dr. Purna Bhattacharya, known critic and poet graced the webinar as a distinguished speaker and delivered a fruitful lecture on modern trends and techniques of poetry. Citing the famous quote, 'Best word in the best order,' Dr. Bhattacharya briefly analyzed the growth and development of Assamese poetry.
