Wild elephant kills one in Udalguri

UDALGURI: Chantola Basumatari of Bongurung village under the Paneri Police Station area was killed by a wild elephant on Friday. He went to Bormukuli village where he was plucking lemons. The wild elephant chased him and trampled him in the field where he succumbed to his injuries. He left behind his wife, two daughters and two sons.
