Winners' name of 'Mangalmoy Shristi Sadhana Bota-2023' declared in Lakhimpur

LAKHIMPUR: Mangalbodh Jagaran Kendra, a unique institution of Lakhimpur working for the amelioration of humanity, nature, health, culture and language, has decided to confer 'Mangalmoy Shristi-Sadhana Bota-2023' on five writers of Lakhimpur, who have continued literary practices relentlessly and dedicatedly. These writers are Ganesh Bhuyan, Bhagyalakhi Deka, Prasanta Kumar Nath, Sweetshree Borah Mohon and Dayananda Goswami.

Retired Principal of Pitapul HS School of Arunachal Pradesh and resident of Ahuchaol Gaon of North Lakhimpur, Ganesh Bhuyan has devoted himself in creative writing for a long time. 'Sandhiyar Samiran', 'Bigyan, Sankardev aru Samakalin Samaj' (two anthologies of articles) and Madhuchandika (novel) are his published books. On the other hand, creative writer Bhagyalakhi Deka is the editor of a poetry magazine 'Kabita-24', published from North Lakhimpur. She has already published two anthologies of poems, named 'Anchalat Modaror Rang' and 'Kathamoyotar Chandat' while her three more books will be published shortly.

Similarly, Prasanta Kumar Nath is a dedicated writer of Lakhimpur. He has already published more than 30 books, including 'Nath Dharma-Darshan aru Sanskriti', 'Gorakhsya-Charit', 'Bharat aru Nepalot Nath Sahityar Anwesan', Swahid Monbor Nath aru Raktakta Biyallish' etc. Sweetshree Borah Mohon is a talented writer. 'Nilanjana Tumi Kot Herai Gola' is her published anthology of short stories. She has been serially writing for 'Mangalmoy Patrika', published from Lakhimpur. Moreover, her write-ups have been published in other magazines and journals of the State. On the other hand, Dayananda Goswami is an exponent of Bhaona and an eminent writer. His 'Phulor Bari', 'Hriday Konpe' are two anthologies of poems while 'Daworat Rupali Rekha' is a social drama. An anthology of 12 one-act plays, three anthologies of article will be published soon.

The "Mangalmoy Shristi-Sadhana Bota" will be conferred on these winners in a special programme of Mangalbodh Jagaran Kendra to be held in March, 2023, stated a press release issued by Jiten Baruah, the Director of the Mangalbodh Jagaran Kendra.
