Woman held with drugs in Sivasagar

SIVASAGAR: Sivasagar Police apprehended a woman from Hospital Road near ASTC Bus Stand in Sivasagar town and recovered small containers of drugs from her possession on Friday. The woman has been identified as Sultana Begum of Nagaon. According to police, based on a tip-off, a team of police, led by the town sub-inspector conducted a raid near ASTC Bus Stand in Sivasagar town on Friday and recovered eleven small containers filled with drugs weighing about 13 grams from her possession. A case has been registered in this regard and further investigation is on, police said.
