Workshop on teaching-learning & evaluation in CBCS underway at Gaurisagar

GAURISAGAR: UGC approved Gandhi Study Centre of Jhanji Hem Nath Sarmah College, its research cell and Dibrugarh University (DU) College Development Council, have jointly organized a week-long national workshop on Teaching-Learning and Evaluation in Choice Based Credit (CBCS), which began on Friday.

In this connection, an inaugural function was organized. Dr. Gopal Hazarika, director of the Computer Study Centre, DU inaugurated the workshop. He also narrated the merits and demerits of Choice Based Credit (CBCS) through power-point presentation.

Gandhi Study Centre felicitated Golap Gogoi, a prominent freedom fighter of Banmukh Chutia Goan in Sivasagar district. The inaugural function started with the lighting of the lamp by Rajani Kanta Goswami, former Principal of the college. The workshop will conclude on November 14.
