Assam Rifles Director General Lt General Sukhdeep Sangwan Visits Srikona

SILCHAR: Director General of Assam Rifles Lt General Sukhdeep Sangwan visited headquarters of the Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) located at Srikona, Assam on April 5. IG Assam Rifles (East) briefed the General on the operational and administrative preparedness in the area of responsibility.

This was followed by a visit to headquarters 22 Sector, Assam Rifles at Haflong where he reviewed the security situation. General Sukhdeep expressed his satisfaction at the operational preparedness of the force in maintaining peace and tranquillity in the region. During his interaction with troops, he lauded the soldiers for their professionalism, commitment and dedication to duty.
