Excise department conducts raid under the supervision of Excise Superintendent Sunil Sinha

Silchar: Last Tuesday more raids were conducted under the supervision of Excise Superintendent Sunil Sinha. 16 such cases have been detected. A total number of 16 persons have also been arrested in this connection. 3.72 litres of Indian made foreign liquor, 60 litres of illicit distilled liquor, 820 litres of fermented wash, 3 sets of distilling apparatus were recovered. Out of the arrested 16 persons, 9 has been remanded for judicial custody.
