Free skills development training programme held in Guwahati

Hailakandi: The District Industries and Commerce Centre (DICC) has asked the youth of the district to avail the free skill development training programme being held in Guwahati.

The National Small Industries Corporation Limited (NSIC), a Government of India enterprise, is organising a free skill development training at its Training cum Incubation Centre in Guwahati from the second week of March in six trades such as fashion designing, leather bag making, computer hardware and networking, beautician, all of two-month duration and in food processing and candle making, one month duration.

General Manager, DICC, Hailakandi has urged the youth to avail the benefits from the free training programme in which accommodation and food will also be provided free of cost.

Candidates with minimum qualification of 8th Standard can apply with identity proof and two passport photos on or before March 6.

Established in 1955, NSIC is working for the promotion of MSME sector. In the NSIC Incubation Centre, modern machineries have been installed coupled with cutting edge technologies to provide skill training or incubation training to the youth to enable them to secure gainful employment in any business enterprise and also to set up his or her own micro or small venture.
