Health workers in Dhemaji help in delivering newborn amid COVID-19 pandemic

GUWAHATI: Health workers in Dhemaji have helped in delivering newborn amid COVID-19 pandemic. This has happened despite lockdown which has imposed several restrictions on movements of people.

NHM Assam said in a tweet, "During the #Covid19 pandemic situation our health workers #Dhemaji District in an emergency situation #successfully conducted a delivery on a country #boat (Udaypur village of Mechaki sapori) following all hygienic procedures. Both the mother and the baby boy (3 kg) are healthy."
