Abhirup, Hridika, Suzein bag titles in GTC Chess Grand Prix 2022-2023

Guwahati: The 11th edition of the GTC Chess Grand Prix 2022-2023 was held at Gauhati Town Club premises on Sunday. Altogether 78 players from across the state participated in this daylong event organized by GTC Chess Foundation. Abhirup Saikia clinched the championship in the Open category by scoring 3.5 points. In the Under 15 category Hridika Das scored 4.5 points on the way to win the title. In the Under 9 category Suzein Ahmed emerged champion collecting five points.
