ASEBSC to face Sanjivan in Independence Day Soccer tournament on Thursday

GUWAHATI: Assam State Electricity Board Sports club (ASEBSC) will start its campaign in the Independence Day soccer tournament on Thursday. The side will face Sanjivan Samaj of Nagaon in the game. Sanjivan today defeated Barveta Sports Club of Jorhat vie tie break 5-3. Schedule time of the game ended 1-1 draw. Earlier in the day OILFC earned hard fought victory over CAG, Delhi in another game. OILFC won the tie via sudden death 7-6. The schedule time ended 1-1 draw and penalty shootout also failed to produce any result as both the sides converted their five shots into goals.
