Champion ASEBSC sign off with unbeaten note in GSA RG Baruah Super Division Football League

GUWAHATI: ASEBSC finished the GSA RG Baruah Super Division Football League with another win at the Nehru Stadium here today. In their last league match they beat Sunrise AC by 2-1. Tridip Boro and Nicodim Narzary scored for the winning side and Jwngbla Brahma returned one for Sunrise Club. With this match the GSA Super Division League for the season 2022-23 came to an end. ASEBSC, ensured the league title well before their final tie, finished with 38 points from 14 games. Sunrise took second place with 22 points.

Talking to The Sentinel after the match the coach of ASEBSC Ganesh Rai said," It's nice to see that the boys were able to maintain consistency in their performance which helped us to win the League title without losing a single match this season."

Jwngbla Brahma of Sunrise Club finished as the highest goal scorer in this edition of the league. He altogether scored 10 goals in the tournament. Nicodim Narzary, scored 8 goals, is second in the list.
