Master Athletic Sports Meet In Kajalgaon In Chirang District

Dhubri: Undivided Goalpara District Master Athletic Association (UGDMAA) is going to organize a two-day competition in Kajalgaon in Chirang district from February 26. The districts of undivided Goalpara district includes Kokrajhar, Bongaigaon, Chirang, Goalpara and Dhubri and Master Athletic will be hoisted by Chirang District Master Athletic Association (CDMAA).

Convenor of UGDMAA, Chandra Kanta Brahma Narzary informed The Sentinel that baring 10,000-meter marathon, all other sports events including marathon, pole vault, relay race would be held in different categories of men and women at Kajalgaon.

More than 170 participants have already registered for taking part in the different sports events from the various districts of erstwhile Goalpara District, Narzary further informed.
