Rugby Football Coaching Camp Concludes in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: The seven-day rugby football coaching camp came to an end today. Rugby Association of Assam organized the camp at the Nehru stadium. The closing function was held at the AOA conference hall in the city which was attended by the president of the Association of Assam Ramendra Narayan Kalita, Secretary Ajit Kalita and other office-bearers. Altogether 42 players from seven districts took part in the camp where coaching was imparted by Pankaj Dagor. In a brief speech, Ramendra Narayan Kalita said that the association is trying its best to promote the game in the state and they would very soon start state level rugby competitions in different age group.
