GUWAHATI: A team of Assam Cricket Association (ACA), led by its president Romen Dutta, today visited Rangia and inspected the ground of Rangia District Sports Association. The inspection was done as a part of the ongoing cricket infrastructure development project of the ACA.

During the inspection the officials of the ACA meet with the office-bearers of the Rangia District Sports Association and announced that two centre wickets and two practice wickets will be constructed at the ground within a very short period of time. The related work will start within the next 10 days. ACA at the same time also asked Rangia District Sports Association for cost estimation for revamping its existing pavilion.

The other ACA members visited Rangia with Dutta today were secretary Devajit Saikia and vice president Porikshit Dutta.
