Sports Minister Bimal Borah visits ACA stadium

GUWAHATI: Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Bimal Borah on Monday visited the ACA Stadium, Barsapara and discussed on various issues with the ACA officials related to infrastructure development of cricket across the State.

It was the first visit for Borah to the ACA stadium after he assumed charge as the Sports and Youth Welfare Minister recently.

During the meeting the officials of the ACA informed the Sports Minister about the different cricket development projects which are going on under the supervision of the association across the State. The ACA officials also raised a couple of issues being faced by association in respect to land allotment, representation of Assam Cricket Association in the Board of Sports and others.

Borah assured all possible help and support from the Government to solve those problems.
