Assam Rifles nabbed Kuki Revolutionary Army (KRA) cadre in Manipur

LEIKOP: The Jwalamukhi Batallion of Headquarters Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) along with the local police on Sunday apprehended one of the most-wanted KRA cadres who was involved in the infamous killing of ex-KRA chief.

According to a press release, troops of Jwalamukhi Batallion launched their troops along with the police based on specific input while the militant cadre was moving towards Motbung in the Kangpokpi district of Manipur.

The cadre tried to flee when he saw the presence of the security forces, but he was chased and subsequently apprehended.
