Covid-19: 5 more test Positive in Manipur; Total 25

Guwahati:

Five more women from Churachandpur in Manipur have tested positive for the Covid-19 on Wednesday, taking the state total to 25 and number of active cases to 23. All these cases have been reported from a group of returnees from Chennai. 

The Government of Manipur has meanwhile informed that containment procedure such as contact tracing has been initiated.

Earlier today, eleven more cases were detected in the state. Meanwhile, the Government has informed that altogether 405 tests were conducted today at the laboratories of (Regional Institute of Medical Sciences)RIMS and (Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences) JNIMS, the premier medical facilities.
