IMPHAL : Solimla Jajo from Manipur won the silver medal at the 13th World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championship 2022. The event took place at Central Phuket in Thailand on 9th of December, Friday. Solimla is 17 year old and participated in the Women's Junior Model Physique. She is a resident of Kasom Khullen in Kamjong district of Manipur.
The world event was inaugurated on 6th of December, where contenders from 44 countries participated under different categories. Solimla is titled Miss Manipur Model Physique 2022. She is also the brand ambassador of Ukhrul Football Club and Animal Booster Nutrition.
The recent international event was the second time Solimla participated in a global level. Owner of the Royal Gymnasium Ukhrul, Robert L trained and monitored the lady for her journey. The Ukhrul FC also posted for the victory of their brand ambassador on Facebook.
The team congratulated her for her back to back achievements. Solimla Jajo had won silver medal in the 54th Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championship 2022. Solimla while talking to the media stated that, fitness is not just about going on a diet but sticking to routine workout even for just an hour or half.
She further emphasised on the importance of workout and urges everyone to take care of their health through proper routine. Solimla quoted, "if you think fitness is costly, try illness".
This year on November, she also took part in the 11th Eastern India Bodybuilding Championship that happened in Kolkata. Jajo secured the 5th position in Women's Model Physique in open category.
Solemla shared her workout regime and said that she did two training two times in a day. Solimla had gathered many feathers in her cap through immense hardwork and dedication. She was also the winner of Miss Manipur Model Physique in 2019 and Federation Cup 2020.
