5 injured in accidents across State

SHILLONG, Aug 16: On Auguest 15 at 12.46 PM one Jogidur Islam, 27 years old male was injured in a road accident at Anogre. 108 Resubelpara based ambulance was on a case to Tura when the public stopped it at Anogre to alert the staff about a truck having met with an accident on losing control and crashing into the side wall. The Emergency Response Centre was contacted for assistance by the 108 team EMT, and Rari based 108 ambulance dispatched to rescue the victim and shift him to Rari PHC.

In another accident at 1.26 PM reported from near Umtrew NR THRILL PARK one Mr Shranly Jyrwa aged 71 years who was travelling in his Maruti car met with an accident as they were hit by another Car coming from behind for which their car skid and fell in the drain. The victim complaint of chest pain. Pre-hospital care was done and Victim was shifted to KJP Robert Hospital Shillong by 108 Umsning Based Ambulance.

Splindaris Kharbani aged 38 years was hit by a bike when she was getting out of her car in 5th Mile Upper Shillong at around 6.47 PM was shifted to Nazareth Hospital by 108 Shillong civil based ambulance .

Kenneth Gatphoh aged 21 years male and Sunny Synrem aged 18 years male met with an accident at Pynthorbah near Golflink around 11.49 PM as their scotty skid and both of them fell down, the victims had a fracture on a leftlower extremities. Pre-hospital care and wound care was given to both the victims and they were shifted to civil hospital by 108 Lawmali Based Ambulance.
