90 new COVID-19 cases registered in Meghalaya

SHILLONG: Meghalaya on Thursday registered the highest number of 90 new COVID-19 cases in the New Year. There was no fatality.

Meanwhile, the State also recorded 23 new recovered cases in the last 24 hours. With this, the total number of recovered cases reached 83,324. The total number of fatalities from COVID-19 infection stands at 1485 so far.

The tally of active cases has increased to 212, the Health Department said in a bulletin.
