Abandoned infant in child care custody in Shillong

SHILLONG: An infant baby girl that was abandoned by the mother at Ganesh Das Government Maternal & Child Health Hospital in Shillong on February 22 is now under the care of the Lawei Baphyrnai Specialized Adoption Agency. Hospital records mention the name of the abandoned mother as Muskan Biswa and father’s name as Mustakim Muhammad, both residents of Barapathar, Jhalupara, Shillong.

Therefore, the parents, any person or relatives having information of any sort regarding the case may contact the offices concerned within two months failing which the child will be declared legally free for adoption.
