ABVP (Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad) carries out COVID drives in Jowai

SHILLONG: The Jowai unit of ABVP (Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad) distributed face masks among students appearing for Board examination in the centre set up at Kiang Nangbah Government Higher Secondary School, on Wednesday. They also sanitised the Jowai Police Station, petrol pumps, H.K.Singh Memorial Secondary School and the Jowai Government Girls Secondary school.

Among those present during these sanitizing operations were the State secretary of ABVP Meghalaya, Kumari Nibiang Sumer, State Executive Council member Vicky Lyngdoh, district incharge Fullmoon Suchiang,town organising secretary Lebanon D Sangma, as well as Fastly Sari, Lamdaka Sunnah, and Memory Dhar. The ABVP will take awareness drive for vaccination of 18-plus people in the coming days, stated a press release.
