Accidents in the city: Shillong

SHILLONG: Kyntiborlang Kharhunai (31) was on his way home driving a Celerio car (ML 05 5812) when the car started having brake problem causing him to lose control and dash into a huge drain at Golflink Shyiap at around 6 pm yesterday.

He sustained back injury along with other minor injuries, and was shifted to Shillong Civil Hospital by 108 Shillong based Ambulance.

In another incident Finingstar Nongkhlaw ( 27) met with an accident around 7.30 PM yesterday while he was riding his bike driving in an inebriated state when he accidently hit a dog and felt down. He sustained laceration on the knee along with minor injuries. He was shifted to Bethany Hospital, Shillong by 108 Shillong based Ambulance. Meanwhile, Elizabeth Sawkmie (35) who was on her friend’s bike met with an accident at around 1.30PM. She sustained injuries and was shifted to Civil Hospital Shillong.
