Air Fest 2019 of HQ Eastern Air Command to be held on October 19

SHILLONG: As part of the diamond jubilee celebrations of HQ Eastern Air Command, Air Fest 2019 will be held at the Advanced Landing Ground of Upper Shillong on October 19. The fest will be open to all from 10 am to 1 pm with no entry fee. Various activities like fly past of Su-30 MKI fighter aircraft, Dornier aircraft, Sarang helicopters, Mi-17 helicopters, static display of aircraft, slithering operation of IAF’s elite force Garud, display by Air Warriors Drill Team (AWDT) and performance by the Air Force Band will be the main highlights of the Air Fest event. Food stalls would also be put up at the venue.
