Amit Shah-Conrad K Sangma that meeting after January 26

Shillong: Union Minister of Home Amit Shah told Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma that their meeting will take place after Republic Day. Conrad was supposed to lead a delegation of the government and other legislators to pursue the Assembly resolution to implement the Inner Line Permit in the State.

That has not fructified till date with the Union Home Minister telling the Chief Minister about his schedule. More than a month has passed, but nothing seems to go forward, Sangma said, “In the past one week, I had two telephonic discussions with him and was told that the time frame will only be fixed after January 26”
