BJP Meghalaya Pradesh Observed the Death anniversary of Atal Bihari Vajpayee

SHILLONG: The BJP Meghalaya Pradesh observed the first death anniversary of Atal Bihari Vajpayee at the State party office here on Friday. Speakers during the function highlighted the contributions of Vajpayee towards the nation in general and the northeastern States in particular. He was remembered for his inventiveness in creating the DoNER Ministry to look after the northeastern States for overall development in the region. Members present at the function observed a one- minute - silence to pay respect to the departed soul.
