BJP MLA Sanbor Shullai condoles HS Shylla's demise

SHILLONG: Condoling the demise of (Late) Hispreachering Son Shylla, BJP MLA Sanbor Shullai said, "It greatly pains me to convey my sincere feeling and great sorrow at the sudden demise of my loving friend Hispreaching Son Shylla."

He was a philosopher, a guide and a protector. His endeavoring works in many fields include the move to unearth the bogus ration cards; and formation of the 'Three Flags' Government in 1978 to end the political instability in the State. He was an architect of the 'Clan Administration Bill' to strengthen the matrilineal system besides many others. He was always full of dynamism, candid in nature and a superb orator.

He will be remembered for his impeccable service and we will always recall his humanitarian qualities and faith in secularism and pluralistic system in the society. He was a father and guardian to the poor, the needy and the weaker section.

"Bahdeng, God knew and saw your sufferings. He then decided to end the tears, the pain and other things that drove you around the bend. It's true death leaves a heartache that can never ever heal, but love leaves a golden memory that nobody can steal. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn't go alone for part of us went with you the day God call you home," he said.

Shullai further said that on behalf of his family and the people of his constituency — 19-South Shillong he conveyed their deepest condolences to the members and close relatives of the bereaved family. "We pray that the Almighty will guide, console and strengthen them in this darkest hours of their life," he said.
