COVID-19 recovery rate rising in Meghalaya

The recovery of COVID-19 patients in Meghalaya is slowly increasing with three more cured of the virus

SHILLONG: The recovery of COVID-19 patients in Meghalaya is slowly increasing with three more cured of the virus on Sunday.

"Three more persons from South West Garo Hills have recovered after testing negative twice," Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma tweeted, adding that the total number of recoveries in the State went up to 26 and that of active cases came down to 17 .

Meghalaya has so far registered 44 COVID-19 positive cases, including one deceased, 17 active and 26 recoveries.
