DC of East Khasi Hills district informed to open select shops in Dhankheti

SHILLONG: The Deputy Commissioner of East Khasi Hills district, in Meghalaya, has informed that the listed shops – Bhajanlal, Police Bazaar and Wheels & Wares, in Dhankheti – will be open on May 28 from 9 am to 6 pm, while Electro Vision, Police Bazaar and Home Care, in Dhankheti will be open on May 29 from 9 am to 6 pm.

The Deputy Commissioner informed that the above listed shops shall restrict their sale in a stand-alone section only for mobile and repair services and recharge, electrical goods, IT products (computer and printers) sale and services, face mask, sanitizers, infrared thermometer and allied to combat COVID-19.

The listed shops are to restrict their staff to the barest minimum. The workers are to wear masks at all times, maintain social distancing, respiratory etiquette, hand hygiene and compliance to all other advisories.
